Yesterday the post was in French only : time was running out at the Starbucks, there's nothing we can do but delay posting.
So we woke up on this very rainy day, and in the clouds (of course, the 4th floor is high !!!), and we knew it would be a difficult day,and we had to take it easy.
On the way to the subway, we met a band on Time Square making a promotion for free chicken or something, at least we hadfree tshirts, and free beads!
We went to the Sanrio store before the subway, but we were already soaked, and there was so much to see that I could only decide to come back later. On Union square, there was a greenmarket, very much alike to the ones in Europe, only with different products, like corn and sunflowers, and this in the middle of the big town !!!!
We had lunch at "Tom's restaurant", which is Suzan Vega's Tom's diner, and mostly Seinfeld place to eat on the show. It's a regular diner, only with Seinfeld pictures on the walls, and the food was very good.
We decided to take it easy, and see the town by bus, but Sax somehow lost his big shopping bag, with no hope of running behind the bus !!! So we spent most of the rest of the day shopping for those items again.
We had a little time on Park Ave/ 5th street but didn't enjoy the luxury hops, or the rich people mixed with the beggars.
Sax was in heaven in a tiny videogame store selling oldies, and even helped selling a PS1 gun with his experience and advices !
The evening was calmer,so it as time to say night night !!!
